Legends Retreat · 17–19 November · Madeira in Fife

Out of the city. Into the trees.

Why two nights

You’ve been circling the same decision since about March.

You already know what it is. The price you haven’t put up. The client you should have let go in the spring. The offer that nearly works. It isn’t that you can’t solve it. It’s that you’ve never once had three uninterrupted hours and someone decent to think out loud with.

  • Running it on your own means deciding on your own. Every call is yours, made alone, somewhere between an invoice and the school run. Two days with a room of other founders is the first time in months that problem gets more than one brain on it.
  • A dinner is two hours, and two hours isn’t enough. Ours are brilliant, and you get properly going right as everyone’s reaching for their coat. By the second night here you’re past the small talk and into each other’s actual numbers.
  • The distance is doing the work. Your best thinking already happens in the shower and on the drive home, because that’s the only time you’re not at your desk. We’re taking the desk away for 48 hours and seeing what turns up.
  • Nobody needs the backstory explained. Everyone there runs their own thing, so you skip the part where you justify why you do it and go straight to “we tried that, it didn’t work, here’s what did”.

What actually happens

Three things, in this order.

It is not a bootcamp and it is not a holiday. It’s a couple of days with the right people and nowhere else to be.

The work

Your business on the table.

Whatever you’ve been circling — the pricing, the hire, the offer that isn’t landing, the client you need to sack. The whole room on it. We keep it honest; the room keeps it kind.

The down time

Hot tub, long dinner, early night if you want one.

Deliberately unscheduled hours. A wood-fired hot tub, good food, a walk down to the harbour. Half the good thinking happens here and none of it happens if we fill every slot.

The plan

You leave with the next move written down.

Not a notebook of nice feelings. The actual decision, dated, and a room of people who now know about it and will ask you how it went.

The full itinerary goes out before you book, so you’re never committing to a mystery.

The place

Madeira in Fife.

Nice enough that you won’t want to leave, far enough out that you can’t accidentally nip back for a call. Treehouses and cottages tucked into the gardens at Grangemuir, looking out over the fields towards the Firth of Forth.

  • You get a door to close. Treehouses on stilts, mezzanine beds, a proper living room and kitchen, a deck over the fields. When you’re done being around people, you’re properly done — this is not a corridor of hotel rooms.
  • A wood-fired hot tub that sits six, which is where the honest conversations will actually happen, at an unreasonable hour, whatever the agenda said.
  • Somewhere decent to actually work. Cottages and indoor space for the group when your business is on the table, and gardens for when the session needs to become a walk instead.
  • Far enough to matter, close enough to get to. Ten minutes into Pittenweem, seventeen from St Andrews, about ninety from Edinburgh. The East Neuk in November is cold, bright and quiet, and nobody is popping home.

Full address and directions come with the itinerary. It’s about an hour and a half from Edinburgh, and getting there is one of the things the group sorts between itself once we know who’s coming.

Two ways in

£800 for the retreat. Or £800 a month, and this one’s free.

This retreat is also the intake for the Legends Mastermind — twelve months helping solo founders build a profitable £150k+ business that pays them properly, delivers 10-star service and fits the life they actually want. The retreats come with it, so if you join, November is on us — the same £800 either buys you two nights, or buys you the first month of the year that changes the business.

Just the retreat

£800

Two nights, bed, food and the whole room on your business. Pay once, come once, no strings afterwards.

The Mastermind

£800 / month

For twelve months, or £8,000 paid up front. The room all year, the quarterly builds, and the retreats come with it — starting with this one, free.

About the Mastermind →

Not sure which? Register your interest either way. We’ll get on a call with you before anyone pays anything — partly to answer your questions, partly to make sure this is actually the right room for you.

For the fiends for fine detail

The questions we’d be asking.

Will I get enough down time? +

Yes. The unscheduled hours are in there on purpose, not as filler. If you want to spend two of them in the hot tub saying nothing, that’s a completely legitimate use of the retreat.

Can I take myself off if it’s all getting a bit much? +

You can absolutely go to bed at 8:30pm and nobody will say a word about it. Being around people is brilliant right up until it isn’t, and we’d rather you tapped out for an hour than white-knuckled it.

I’m keen but I’m a lil nervous. +

Good. Fear usually points directly at the thing that matters most to us.

We’ll have a chat before you commit to make sure you feel comfortable, and there’s a WhatsApp group running before we go — so you’ll have met everyone coming before you’ve even got in the car.

Can I bring a friend? +

If they’re sound, yes. They’ll have to pay too, but there’s a referral discount in it for you both — just ask when we speak.

Sleeping arrangements, food, transport, timings, what to pack? +

All of it is answered properly before anyone books. Register your interest and we’ll send the full itinerary and talk you through it.

Short version: the food is sorted, the itinerary genuinely exists, and you will not need hiking boots.

What does the £800 actually cover, and what if I can’t make it? +

You get the exact list — what’s included, what isn’t, and where you stand if something comes up and you can’t travel — in writing, before you pay anything.

We’d rather you asked now than found out after. If the answer to any of it would change your mind, that’s a good reason to get us on the phone first.

Do I have to be in the Mastermind? +

No. £800 covers you for the retreat on its own and there’s no obligation afterwards.

It’s just that this is where the next Mastermind intake starts, so a few of the people in that hot tub will be signing up for the year. If you’re one of them, the £800 disappears.

Bring the thing you’ve been avoiding.

If you’ve read enough, register your interest and we’ll get on a call — answer the rest of your questions and get you booked in. There are only so many beds in the woods, and it’s five weeks away. If you need more than a web page, message us and we’ll talk it through.
