Legends Mastermind · Edinburgh

Build a brilliant business without losing yourself inside it.

A 12-month, in-person-first mastermind for established founders who want to grow a more profitable business, deliver a remarkable experience, and build in a way that still feels like them.

£8k a year · £2k a quarter · one room of 24 founders

Where you are

You’ve already proved you can build something.

You have customers. You have an offer. People are paying you. From the outside it might look like you’ve cracked it. Inside the business, there are still questions — what to focus on next, how to grow profit without dropping the quality, how to stop carrying every decision on your own, and how to build something bigger without ending up resenting it.

Not the beginning. The bit where it works — and could be far better.

Going pro

You’re in the arena. This is the training.

Starting a business puts you in the arena — you took the risk, put your work out there and got people to pay for it. That alone takes something. But there’s a difference between having a business and learning to build one deliberately.

The Collective says you don’t have to build alone. The Mastermind says you don’t have to work out the next level alone either.

  • For founders who take the work seriously, without taking themselves too seriously.
  • People who want to make proper money without becoming someone they don’t like.
  • You’re not here because the business is broken. You’re here because it matters.

The Legends Standard

Three things, improved at once.

It’s the organising idea behind the whole programme. Any one alone is common. The founders we host sit right in the middle.

01  —  A 10-star experience+

A business people genuinely want to buy from, come back to, and recommend without being asked. We look past whether the work is technically good, at the whole thing: how people find you, how they decide, how they’re welcomed, how it’s delivered, how they feel throughout, and what they remember afterwards.

How we measure it: 90% of your clients able to give you a five-star review, plus improving referrals and repeat business. The aim isn’t satisfied customers. It’s a business people talk about.

02  —  A properly profitable business+

Revenue matters, and so do margin, cash, owner pay and the quality of the business under the headline number. For many members the first real milestone is building towards or beyond £100k a year — but the aim isn’t a vanity number.

It’s a business that pays you properly, produces genuine profit, has a reliable pipeline, gives you room to reinvest, and doesn’t run on panic and heroics.

03  —  A values-aligned founder+

A successful business should make your life better, not just busier. We take the human running the company as seriously as the company — time, energy, relationships, freedom, ambition, confidence, and the kind of founder you’re becoming.

The question isn’t only how far can we grow this? It’s also do I want the life this business is creating?

Your year inside

What you actually get.

Four layers — strategy, accountability, capability and community. Here’s how they land across the year.

Once, at the start

The Strategy Intensive.

Half or full day, in person. We go through you, the business, the goals, what’s working, what’s in the way, the experience you want to create, and what matters to you outside the business. You start with a clear 90-day plan and a direction — not a pile of generic content.

Four times a year

Strategy Days & Off-sites.

  • Quarterly Strategy Days — a full day in person. Review revenue, profit, pipeline, delivery, team and founder capacity. Leave with a 90-day focus, real decisions made and a plan you actually understand.
  • Quarterly off-sites & retreats — time outside the business for perspective, proper conversation and the odd adventure. Your first one’s included when you join. Not corporate away-days with beige sandwiches.
  • SOS strategy calls — up to two a quarter, one-to-one, for when a decision won’t wait for the calendar.

Every month

The room, at work.

  • Mastermind session — a half day, in person in Edinburgh. Planning, hot seats, peer problem-solving, introductions and clear commitments. Not one expert talking while everyone takes notes.
  • Education & experience session — 60–90 minutes online with a carefully chosen expert. Useful expertise from people who’ve done the work. No motivational wallpaper.
  • Progress review — a short written check-in across profit, customer experience and founder alignment. Writing surfaces things a group conversation never does.
  • Supper Club — the monthly founder dinner, and the wider Collective with it.

Every week · in the private community

Momentum.

  • Monday — your priorities, what matters most this week, and where you might need a hand.
  • Friday — what moved, what didn’t, what you learned, what changes next week.

The goal isn’t compulsory community engagement. It’s progress. Midweek help is there when you need it.

All year

The room around you.

  • Accountability pods — small groups of six, for closer relationships and people who actually notice if you go quiet.
  • Private founder community — questions, wins and support between sessions.
  • Introductions — to relevant founders, specialists, partners and opportunities.
  • Specialist roundtables — small groups facing the same challenge or opportunity.
  • Member directory — who’s in the room, what they do, and how you can help each other.
  • Collective events & socials — workshops, Get Shit Done days and the rest of the year.

Fit

Who it’s for — and who it isn’t.

Likely a fit

  • You already have an offer, product or service that sells.
  • You’re committed to the business, not casually experimenting.
  • You want to reach — or move beyond — £100k a year.
  • You care about profit, not just turnover.
  • You want to deliver an exceptional service.
  • You’ll look honestly at yourself and the business.
  • You value being in the room, in person.
  • You give generously to a room, not just take from it.

Probably not, yet

  • You’re still deciding what to sell.
  • You want someone else to build the business for you.
  • You’re after passive content to consume.
  • You only care about extracting more money.
  • You’d rather stay anonymous at the back of a Zoom room.

Still building or validating the offer? The Accelerator is the better place to start — twelve weeks, one-to-one with Paddy, money back if it doesn’t work. Most Owners started there. No shame in the shallow end; everyone was in it once.

Already well beyond £100k? Good — it’s a milestone, not a ceiling. The room includes founders now focused on profit, systems, paying themselves properly, building a team and growing without losing control of the business or themselves. We care more about the game you’re playing than everyone having the same turnover.

The investment

£8k / year

Billed once a year. One price, all of it.

The price is on the page because hiding it would be weird. No mysterious pricing, and no waiting until the last ten minutes of a call to find out whether this costs the same as a used hatchback.

Includes the full programme — strategy intensive, quarterly strategy days and off-sites, monthly sessions, education, community and ongoing support. Travel and any clearly identified exceptional third-party costs are explained before you commit. Come For Dinner meals are still yours to cover, Owner or not.

Apply for the Mastermind

Why we ask you to apply

One room. Twenty-four founders.

A mastermind is only as good as the people in it, so we’re careful about fit. The application tells us about you, the business, what’s already working, where you want to go, what you need from the room — and what you’ll bring to it. If we think there’s a fit, we’ll have a proper conversation.

We’re building the most valuable founder room in Scotland.

The honest FAQ

Things people actually ask.

How many people are in the room?+

Twenty-four. That’s the founding cohort, and it’s deliberate — small enough that everyone actually knows each other and gets time in the room. We’d rather build one unforgettable room than a big anonymous one.

Is this coaching, or a course?+

Neither, really. No curriculum, no modules to work through. It’s strategy, accountability, capability and community in one place — a room of founders who meet all year, plus Paddy across your numbers. Most of the learning happens sideways, from the people beside you.

Do I have to be doing £100k already?+

No. You need an offer that’s already selling and a real commitment to the business. £100k is a milestone we work towards with a lot of members — and plenty in the room are well past it. We care more about the game you’re playing than the number.

What if I miss a month?+

Life happens and nobody’s counting attendance. Come to what you can. The community, the pods and the check-ins don’t clock off between sessions.

Do I have to be in Edinburgh?+

The monthly sessions, strategy days and off-sites are in person, so you need to be able to get here for them — plenty of people travel in. If you can’t make Edinburgh regularly, this probably isn’t the right room yet, and we’d rather say so.

What happens after I apply?+

Paddy calls you. It’s a proper conversation, not a pitch. If it’s right for both of us, you’re in. If it isn’t, he’ll tell you — kindly, and usually with a better suggestion. Where it makes sense, we may invite you to experience an upcoming session first.

Build something worth being part of.

A more profitable business. A 10-star experience. A life that still feels like yours. Surrounded by founders who give a shit.
